Born in the latest 80s, I grew up in the 90s in Germany and enjoyed that very much. Loved being outside, just going to friend's houses ringing the doorbell and asking if they could come out to play which included going somewhere on our bikes, checking out the playground or spinning a make believe story in which we all had a part to play. I miss those times. I don't miss being young and having to be told what to do and not having any money for myself, but I do miss the innocence of it all. Like kicking out the streetlights in our street was the greatest offence (that, and getting home after dark).
Anyway, getting back to the point of introductions (I am rambling on so a list and subpages it is):
... and that don't need an extra page
As I've been asked by Vashti what the name of the website means, I thought it would be best to put the on here as well:
The name "Papershoe" doesn't really have an intriguing history. When I was still on that old blogging platfrom, I was was using my real name (not the full one, but still close enough) and when I changed to a hoster I was simply looking for a new name that wouldn't give away my identity. I was really into a band named Incubus at that time (and I still have a few songs on my playlist), and they had a song called "Paper Shoes". And, you know, I love books and writing so it seemed fitting enough. What I really love about it is that it fits even better now that I love hiking and walking so much. I am also known to wear the same shoes all the time. I own one pair of shoes that I wear until they die and then I buy the same shoes again.
